Michael Chaves, known for his work on The Curse of La Llorona and The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, was chosen to direct the film.

Principal photography commenced in October 2022 in France, capturing the atmospheric setting that intensifies the horror. Tristan Nyby's cinematography and Gregory Plotkin's editing add a visually chilling and suspenseful touch to the film. The score, composed by Marco Beltrami, enhances the eerie atmosphere and heightens the tension.

The Nun II is set to be released by Warner Bros.
