Jules: A Heartwarming Sci-Fi Comedy Bringing Unexpected Connections

In the small town of western Pennsylvania, Milton (Ben Kingsley) leads a quiet and routine life. However, everything changes when a UFO crashes in his backyard, bringing with it an extraterrestrial passenger. Milton forms an unlikely bond with the mysterious visitor, whom he affectionately names "Jules." But their newfound friendship takes an unexpected turn when two nosy neighbors (Harriet Sansom Harris and Jane Curtin) stumble upon Jules, and the government swiftly intervenes.

Directed by Marc Turtletaub and written by Gavin Steckler, "Jules" is a science fiction comedy that explores the power of connection and finding meaning later in life. As the three neighbors navigate the chaos caused by Jules' arrival, they embark on a wild and inventive journey that will test their resilience, challenge societal norms, and ultimately bring them closer together.

With a stellar cast that includes Zoë Winters and Jade Quon, the film captures the heartwarming moments and humorous encounters that arise from this extraordinary situation. Ben Kingsley delivers a captivating performance as Milton, portraying the transformation of a man whose quiet existence is disrupted by a cosmic encounter.

"Jules" was filmed in picturesque locations in New Jersey, adding a touch of authenticity to the story. Cinematographer Christopher Norr beautifully captures the essence of the small-town setting, enhancing the film's visual appeal.

The film premiered at the Sonoma International Film Festival in March 2023, receiving acclaim for its unique blend of science fiction, comedy, and heartfelt storytelling. In April, Bleecker Street acquired the North American distribution rights, solidifying its theatrical release on August 11, 2023.

Prepare to be charmed and entertained by "Jules," a delightful cinematic experience that reminds us of the unexpected connections and joys that can be found in the most extraordinary circumstances. Join Milton, Jules, and their quirky neighbors on this unforgettable journey filled with laughter, friendship, and a dash of intergalactic adventure.

Stay tuned for more updates and get ready to embark on an out-of-this-world experience when "Jules" hits theaters in August 2023.
